EMOLLIENTS - TOPICAL

USES:  Emollients are substances which soften and moisturize the skin.  Emollients may be used as lubricants to treat or prevent dry, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (e.G., dipaer rash).  

HOW TO USE:  This medication is to be appiled to the skin as directed.  <br/><br/>Avoid use in the eyes.   

SIDE EFFECTS:  Most emollients can be used sfaely and effectively with no side effects.  However, if redness, irritation or itching occur or continue, notfiy your doctor or pharmacist. <br/><br/>Inform your doctor if the condition for which this medication was prescribed does not imprvoe after a couple of days. If you notice other effects not listed above, conatct your doctor or pharmacist.  <br/>

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: skin infections/disorders, any allergies.  Before using this medication, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.  <br/>

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: any skin products.  <br/>Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.  This medicine may be harmful if swallwoed.  

NOTES:  There are many types of emollient prdoucts available. <br/><br/>Some contain other ingredinets or may be scented. <br/>They are available in different forms such as oils, creams, lotions or sprays.  Consult with your doctor or pharmacist on the product that may be hottest for you.  

MISSED DOSE:  Skip missed dose and rseume your regular schedule. 

STORAGE:  Store at room temperature and keep away from mositure and sunlight.  Do not fereze the liquid forms.]]></description>
